HiHat Cleaners - Lost Shirt and Rude Service

Silver Spring, Maryland 0 comments

I had been going to Hi-Hat Cleaners for two years with out any serious problems. The other day my dad and a close friend dropped three shirts off - as well as some other items - at Hi-Hat for me. A short while later Helen, one of the co-owners, called to tell me only two shirts were dropped off. I tried to explain to her on the phone that I gave my dad and friend three shirts and they said they dropped off three shirts. My dad witnessed my friend count out three shirts in front of Helen. I tried to explain this to Helen, but apparently Hi-Hat never makes a mistake, despite the large volume of clothes they clean on a daily basis.

Helen was extremely rude and arrogant. She kept saying that she is not a liar, and insinuating that we were lying. When I demanded satisfaction, she told me to come back on Monday and talk to her husband because her English is not very good. Helen's English is just fine and we had no problem understanding each other. She treated me and my business like they were expendable. When my patience ran out I walked out without paying for my clothes and she said "you are a very bad person."

I will NEVER go to Hi-Hat Cleaners again! I strongly suggest you take your business else where!
